We have an exciting opportunity out of our Tokyo office for an Customer Success Representative to join our team. The project management team will perform fieldwork and survey operations for our clients in Japan. Currently survey operations is handled by the Customer Success team, which is also responsible for sales, but we are looking to make a clear separation between sales and operations in Japan.
Operations requires the ability to execute quickly with high quality project management skills, and we are looking to hire someone with the ability to do so. This position will also require cooperation and coordination with various departments within the company (sales, development, product, marketing, finance, etc.), so this is a valuable position that requires not only external negotiations but also internal negotiation skills.
Role Purpose & Responsibilities:
【Scope of responsibility】
・Online sampling for clients who want to conduct multi-country surveys. Responsible for fieldwork management.
・Survey distribution, sample collection, data cleaning.
・Understanding the client's research needs while executing the project. Identify various obstacles and concerns that may arise in advance of the client.
・Report on client needs and issues to various departments within the company to enable them to perform higher quality operations.
・Introduce our products and services to clients as needed.
・Work closely with sales team to share client information.
・Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
・Identify potential risks before problems arise and take action to resolve them.
・Identify issues in systems and processes and provide feedback as needed.
・2+ years of operations experience in the research industry (online or offline)
・You must be a team player and self-motivated.
・You must have an understanding and empathy for our business model.
・Excellent consulting skills and in-depth knowledge of a specific field.
・Excel skills (e.g., ability to use basic functions)
・Native in Japanese (communication required with Japanese clients and team)
・Fluent in English (communication with all departments within the company will be done in English)
・You have the initiative and proactivity to communicate, make suggestions, and work independently.
