Program Manager (Non-Technical)

This role is open to candidates living in the United States to work remotely or from one of our US-based office locations (New Orleans, Dallas, New York).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources and key stakeholder/ SMEs for the flawless execution of multiple projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with key stakeholder, project team and other members of the organization as needed.
- Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
- Actively manages risks, issues, and dependencies on the program.
- Constantly problem solve and remove blockers to delivery
- Ensure the program is appropriately scoped and scope change is governed
- Guide stakeholders and program team members through difficult decisions.
- Conduct data analysis and report generation when needed (Excel, PowerBI, etc.,)
- Travel on an as need basis, it varies between 5-10%
Requirements
- 7-9+ years proven working experience in project management
- PMP / CAPM Certification Required
- Extensive experience as a program manager on transformation and integration projects
- Experience working with diverse global teams.
- Ability to deliver effective presentations to all levels of the organization, including Sr leadership team and Executives.
- Works well under pressure and with minimal guidance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Demonstrated capability in delivering complex system/technology programs related to post-merger integration.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of Operations/ Financial systems, and BI technologies (Power BI, Salesforce, Netsuite etc.,)
- Experience with project/program management software tools (Jira,Visio, SmartSheet, Excel, etc.,)
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and any related certifications or Agile certifications
